PATNA: A sport utility vehicle (SUV) of JD (U)’s Parbatta MLA Ramanand Prasad Singh was stolen by unidentified thieves from outside his house in Ashok Nagar locality here around 4am on Sunday. Patna sadar ASP Sushant Kumar Saroj said police have begun an inquiry into the incident. Singh, a former minister, has lodged an FIR in this connection at Kankerbagh police station.SHO of Kankerbagh police station Ravi Bhushan said raids were on to arrest the thieves and recover the stolen car. “We are examining the CCTV footages to identify the thieves,” the SHO added. He said the incident occurred when Singh’s family was fast asleep.“In the CCTV footage, two persons are seen stepping out of their car and breaking the locks of the MLA’s SUV,” the SHO said..
