Nonteaching employees crunch hits PPU functioning

GAYA: The delay in the apportionment of non-teaching employees between Magadh University, the parent university and its recent off shoot Pataliputra University ( PPU ) has badly affected. As per records, only 47 of the nearly 500 non-teaching employees of the MU headquarters exercised their preference in favour of Pataliputra University. The number of those who volunteered to serve Pataliputra University is only 47. Others simply preferred to stay put at their old work place.As per the apportionment formula, 55% of MU non-teaching staff has to be relocated to the new university. Going by the numbers, about 275 employees have to be transferred..
