Criminals kill showroom employee in Ara

ARA: Two bike-borne criminals fired indiscriminately at a tractor showroom near Zero Mile under Udwantnagar police station in which accountant Vipul Mishra and a showroom staff Saroj Yadav were critically injured.Both the injured were rushed to a private hospital at Ara. Town police station SHO JP Singh told this newspaper that no formal complaint was lodged in this regard till Thursday afternoon. The showroom is owned by a local BJP leader and social worker Prem Pankaj alias Lalan Gupta, who is also the president of Ara Ramlila Samiti. He was not present at the showroom at the time of the incident.Bhojpur SP Awakash Kumar visited the spot and said the culprits have been identified and police were conducting raids to nab them. While doctors managed to save Saroj, Vipul, who was referred to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), died on way to Patna.In order to create a sense of terror, the criminals left behind a card, on which the letter ‘H’ and a symbol of lion was depicted, indicating the involvement of a gang of notorious criminal who had recently escaped from Ara Jail..
