PMC sets up 6 vending zones

The three locations at Rajendra Nagar are Vaishali roundabout to McDowell roundabout, McDowell roundabout to Premchandra roundabout and under Rajendra Nagar bridge.The proposed vending zones will have drinking water facilities, street lights, concrete pavements, parking space, dustbins and seating arrangements for people. The permanent vending zones have come up at Rajapur Pul near Boring Canal Road and at Bind Toli, Sheikhpura, thereby giving space to local vendors to sell their products.Additional municipal commissioner Devendra Prasad Tiwari said the temporary vending zones at Kadam Kuan, Boring Canal Road, near J D Women’s College and near Patna GPO on Budh Marg would be utilised by vendors till permanent vending areas are developed for them..
