PATNA/BEGUSARAI: The Begusarai police on Saturday initiated the process to confiscate movable properties of absconding former state minister Kumari Manju Verma in connection with an Arms Act case.A non-bailable warrant was issued against Manju by a Begusarai court on October 31. The central probe agency had registered an FIR against Manju and her husband on August 18. Earlier, the apex court had rapped the Bihar Police twice for failing to trace Manju.On Saturday, the property attachment order was first pasted on the former minister’s house amid beating of drums.
