2 farmers shot dead in East Champaran

MOTIHARI: Unidentified bike-borne criminals shot at two people outside Ghorasahan block office under the same police station area in East Champaran on Monday. The deceased were identified as Shambhu Yadav (45) of Kadmawa village and Siyaram Kushwaha (43) from Rajwada village.The assailants managed to flee. The injured were rushed to a local hospital where the doctors declared them brought dead. Sikrahna subdivisional police officer Alok Kumar said prima facie land dispute appeared to be the reason behind the crime. “The belongings of the deceased had been found intact,” he told this newspaper over the phone.The bodies were handed over to the family members after postmortem at Motihari Sadar hospital..
