Maoists call for bandh to protest PMs Gaya visit

RANCHI: The Bihar Regional Committee (BRC) of CPI Maoists has called a 24 hour bandh in Magadh zone of Bihar beginning Monday midnight. Manas said that BJP at Centre has been fooling people in the name of conducting peaceful elections.

" In the days to come our party along with armed villagers will confiscate his movable and immovable property to distribute it among the villagers," he said.The Maoists have described action against Singh as a token of protest against the "fascist rulers '. "Singh represents the oppressor ruling class and highly communal mindset of the RSS brigade which has targetted people of religious minority groups including the Muslims and Christians and our action against him will not remain limited to blowing up his house. The bandh has been announced to protest the proposed Gaya visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in connection with the upcoming parliamentary election.Describing the BJP-led government and Centre as RSS backed communal dispensation of imperialist rulers the Maoists have expressed strong resentment to the incidents of mob lynching in the name of cow protection.Spokesperson of the BRC, Manas told TOI that they have already punished one of the BJP leaders, former MLC Anuj Singh by blowing up his house in Bodhibigha village under Dumaria PS of Gaya district on March 27..
