GAYA: A heavy duty scanner was installed on Thursday at the main entrance of Mahabodhi temple to scan the hand baggage of the visitors. The scanner was jointly inaugurated by Magadh division commissioner Jitendra Srivastava and Gaya DM Kumar Ravi. The state-of-the-art scanner can instantly identify objectionable items being taken by the visitors.According to the DM, besides detecting concealed explosives, the scanner has got zoom and recording facility.
