Voters’ drive: 8.16 L households to be covered

PUNE: In less than 20 days, the booth level officers (BLOs) involved in door-to-door voters’ registration drive in Pune district will need to cover roughly 8.16 lakh households. The district collector said it is a humungous task, but the officials will ensure that all 17 lakh households — or 71 lakh voters, as per the electoral rolls — are covered by month-end.
