Pune: The Pimpri police have come up with an innovative way to make people travelling in Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) buses aware of ways to be safe on board.During peak hours, two woman police constables board the buses and give tips to the passengers, especially the women, on ways to safeguard their valuables. On finding any suspicious person on the bus, they should immediately contact control room (100) or the women helpline (108).Deputy commissioner of police (zone-III) Ganesh Shinde said the drive will be extended to all localities in zone-III as well..
