Summary:

PIMPRI CHINCHWAD: Around 12,000 residents of the Madhuban society area in Old Sangvi are irked by the poor condition of roads. Avinash Marane, another resident, said the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has been developing footpaths, reducing the width of the already narrow roads. The area has nine lanes passing by single- and multi-storeyed buildings.“The road near the entrance to the municipal garden is very slushy. People must not park their vehicles on the footpaths and cause hardships to pedestrians and congestion. We will be completing the remaining work soon,” said Shirish Poredi, spokesperson of the engineering department, PCMC.
