FTII bids adieu to Lord Ganesha

It has been a week into Ganeshotsav and Pune has welcomed the festival in all its grandeur, decorating the city in lights, hosting dhol-tasha and dekhavas. The campus celebrations are a time when students become family.The Film and Television Institute of India celebrated the festival with a ganpati sthapana. The idol was kept for seven days after which students conducted the visarjan. Not to be left out are the city colleges. A dhol- tasha group was invited to play while students danced and played with colours while leading the procession.The festival was a great success and the college shared photos of the even t on social media to share the zeal and great enthusiasm with which the event was celebrated on campus..
