Authorities seek share in revenue from building nods

Pune: MahaMetro and PMRDA have sought share in the revenue generated from building permissions along the Metro corridor.This comes in the wake of the Centre and the state adopting the transit oriented development (TOD) policy for the Metro projects. The issue was proposed by MLA Jagdish Mullick and was accepted as “feasible” by MahaMetro on the condition that PMC will bear the cost. There is no alternative route for lakhs of people of Nagar road,” she said. “The two-tier flyover starting from Gunjan chowk will be an obstruction to the entry and exit of the Kharadi-Shivane road at the PMC garbage transfer station.
