Pune police to use IVRS to reduce prank calls

PUNE: Officials at the city police control room, which used to receive as many as 30,000 calls per day, including several unwanted and prank calls, can now breathe easy.The police have managed to cut down unnecessary or prank calls, thanks to the installation of an Inter Active Voice Response System (IVRS).
