Pune: The Modern College of science commerce and arts will organize ‘Gender and Psychology’, a free psychology festival, at the A.V Hall (main building, 2nd floor) of the college between 10.30 am and 5pm on September 26.“The fest will attempt to bring a slice of psychology to the participants through a myriad of activities. There will also be an interactive paper presentation on feminist literature and its influence,” said the head of the Psychology department at the college Sadhana Natu.From identifying gender stereotypes portrayed in Bollywood songs to a presentation on myths about the LGBTQ community, the festival hopes to become a talking point among students across the city.The fest also aims to spread awareness about alternative therapies for psychological disorders..
