PUNE: Two motorcycle-borne assailants on Friday night opened fire at a lawyer on Sangamwadi-Yerawada Road.Passers-by rushed the injured lawyer, Devanand Dhokne (45), a resident Ashoknagar in Yerawada , to a hospital. When the lawyer reached the Sangamwadi area, one of assailants opened fire at the former at 8.45pm. It is suspected that the two men started chasing him on their motorcycle from Shivajinagar.After opening fire, the duo sped towards Yerawada. The bullet grazed his neck and he fell on the road.The passers-by rushed him to a private hospital in Koregaon Park.
