Rs 6.3 lakh stolen from Iran national’s flat

PUNE: Burglars struck at the residence of an Iran national at a high-rise in Wanowrie’s Kedarinagar and stole Indian and foreign currency collectively worth Rs 6.30 lakh on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday. She had gone to the residence of her relatives when burglars barged into her flat on finding it locked and decamped with the currency. The complainant has not suspected the involvement of any person in the burglary.”Senior police officials have inspected the crime scene.The Pune crime branch is conducting a parallel investigation. There were two guards on duty but they were clueless about the incident.”“We are analysing CCTV cameras to establish the identity of the burglars.
