PUNE: The civic body on Sunday launched the Dattatray Walse Patil Eye Hospital in Bopodi, on a public-private partnership with Vision Next Foundation.The hospital will be operational within 15 days and will offer eye care services at 70% less charge than private facilities.Vision Next Foundation foundation is a consortium of leading eye specialists, anaesthetists and technicians. The hospital is mainly a day care centre but has provision of 12 beds for patients if hospitalization is needed. The foundation was selected through a tendering process carried out two years ago.Former Union minister Sharad Pawar inaugurated the hospital.
