Minister seeks timeline for Bhimashankar development plan

PUNE: The state forest minister Sudhir Mungantiwar on Thursday asked the district administration to fix a timeline to help execute the development plan for Bhimashankar.The state authorities have drafted a Rs 148.73 crore-plan to develop visitor-friendly facilities in Bhimashankar. The representatives of the Bhimashankar temple committee pointed out that thousands of private vehicles visit the area every day and lack of proper parking facilities was leading to chaos. Research books have pointed that bonsai is an Indian art,” Mungantiwar said.
