Pvt schools fail to meet MR vaccination target

Summary:

The state education commissioner has issued a letter and notices to principals of schools that are lagging behind their vaccination targets. ‘Repeat sessions should be conducted in those schools where vaccination has not happened or the percentage of vaccination is very less. The officers should aim at 100 per cent vaccination will happen in their area. There is constant refusal by the school management and parents for the vaccination drive. A huge number of 2.43 lakh children are, however, yet to be vaccinated.There are 1,320 schools in Pune where the vaccination drive has been started..
