7 naxals killed in encounter in with security forces in Chhattigsarh

RAIPUR: At least seven Maoists, including three women cadres, were killed in an encounter with security forces in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district on Thursday morning.While the encounter is still underway, P Sundarraj, DIG anti-Maoist operations said that in an exchange of fire between ultras and security forces, seven Maoists were killed near Timinar and Pusanar village along the bordering area of Dantewada and Bijapur district.A joint force of District Reserve Guards and Special Task Force troops were out on combing operations in forests of bordering area of Dantewada when a group of Maoists opened indiscriminate firing at around 6 am.Security forces have recovered bodies of seven rebels from the spot along with recovery of two INSAS rifle, two .303 rifle, one 12 bore rifle and few other muzzle loading weapons.Among the seven dead bodies recovered, three are women cadres, DIG said..
