The couple was arrested and further probe is underway.Recently, a youth in Korba was arrested in cannibalistic act of murdering his mother over similar accusations. Villagers told police that Dayashanakar used to harass his mother frequently by locking her in a room for days and wouldn't give her food or water. Suspecting his involvement, police interrogated him during which he confessed to having killed his mother.
