RAIPUR: In another major announcement, Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel announced to waive off irrigation cess due on farmers amounting to Rs 207 crore. He handed over the land title records and land revenue booklets (Bhu-Adhikar and Rin Pustika) to these farmers. Baghel said the outstanding amount of irrigation tax imposed till October 2018, of farers pending for nearly 15 years will be waived off.
