COVID cases swell againA frightful surge of 4563 corona positive cases in Chhattisgarh on Wednesday late evening once again sent shivers down the spine of the entire Health Department machinery thereby concurrently taking the total active case to 25529. The total number of active cases recorded on Wednesday corresponds with the August 27 2020 spike when State accounted for 25988 cases. The dreaded similarity of upsurge in the active cases is a worrisome situation since Chhattisgarh today recorded for over 3.49 lakh active cases ever since the global pandemic broke out. Apropos is the situation with other districts which is inching fast towards 100 plus cases per day in the state. Furthermore restive Narayanpur and Bijapur districts recorded 4 cases each whereas Dantewada and Sukma contributed only 2 cases each today..
