In a tweet, the chief minister said he felt that now the Covid-19 infection is increasing the younger generation of our young country should be prepared to manage future challenges.

During the second wave, Covid-19 is recording an alarming increase in Chhattisgarh—particularly in the state capital, twin cities of Durg and Bhilai, and in Rajnandgaon district.

For the last two days, at least 10,000 cases of CoVID infection are reporting daily from across the state.

Earlier, Maharashtra chief minister Udhav Thackrey and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has favored vaccination for all age groups, urging the chief to remove the clause of vaccinating only those above the age of 45 and start vaccination drive at a mass scale.
