Chhattisgarh was in the top 10 states of the country in the vaccination drive on Sunday, securing the seventh position.

An official statement said on Monday that more than 15 percent of the population of the state has been vaccinated.

This is far better than the national average of 7.79 percent.

The percentage given the first of two doses (above age 45) is 66 percent.

A total of 88 percent of healthcare workers and 91 percent of frontline workers have been given the first dose, it added.
