Staff ReporterDURG :In a unique environmental initiative a 20-year old banyan tree relocated by Sinter Plant 3 collective was re-planted by Soma Mondal Chairman SAIL during her visit to Bhilai Steel Plant. The main constraint in making this shade was this banyan tree which was located at the place where one of the columns of the shade had to be erected. So there were only two ways - either to cut the tree or to relocate the tree to a new location.
