Raipur, Sep 1 (PTI) Chhattisgarh on Thursday reported 120 new COVID-19 cases at a positivity rate of 1.73 per cent, taking the overall tally to 11,73,856, while the death toll increased by two to reach 14,112 in the state, an official said.
The recovery count stood at 11,58,911 after 160 people recovered during the day, leaving the state with 833 active cases, he said.
"Surguja led with 21 cases, followed by 19 in Raipur, 13 in Durg and 6 in Bilaspur, among other districts.
No fresh coronavirus cases were reported in four of the 28 districts in the state," the official said.
With 6,925 swab samples examined during the day, the tally of tests carried out so far in the state went up to 1,84,67,315, he added.
