One killed, 10 injured in multiple-vehicle accident

Rajkot: In a multiple-vehicle accident involving a race among two heavy vehicles, one person was killed and 10 injured in Nani Moladi village near Chotila in Surendranagar district on Tuesday morning.According to the details of the accident, a truck and a tanker were engaged in a race on the Rajkot-Ahmedabad highway. Those injured in the accident were passengers of the bus.Meanwhile, a major traffic snarl was caused due to the accident on the highway, one side of which remained blocked for nearly two hours.
