Palanpur: A 26-year-old nurse of Mehsana Civil Hospital allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan at her house on Sunday afternoon.Though exact reason for the drastic step is still being investigated, the nurse Neelam Leuva’s father Baldeo alleged she was being mentally harassed by a doctor of the civil hospital. Police inspector P S Vyas said, “Her father has alleged that doctor G K Kandoi often reprimanded her and told her to resign. It was only after assurance of impartial and speedy probe by Mehsana SP Neelesh Jajadia that they accepted her body.
