Activists claim one thousand fishes died in lakes

RAJKOT: Animal right activists have claimed that more than 1,000 fishes have died in Lalpari and Randarda lakes, a claim that Rajkot Municipal Corporation RMC ) strongly denied saying that only 10 fishes have died so far.The activists have urged chief minister Vijay Rupani to order investigation in this matter.Mittal Khetani, an animal right activist, alleged that RMC is trying to suppress the figures.
