RAJKOT: The murder of senior BJP leader Jayanti Bhanushali , barely few months before Lok Sabha elections, may force BJP to revisit its vote arithmetic.The slain 54-year-old leader held a considerable sway over the Bhanushali community which has nearly 3 lakh voters in Kutch district . Kutch BJP MP Vinod Chavda said, “It is indeed a big loss to the party. Bhanushali had lost to Chhabil Patel, then a Congressman who joined BJP in 2014, triggering bitter enmity between them. The community, which is mostly engaged in various businesses, is mainly concentrated in Abdasa, Mandvi and Gandhidham. He was a prominent political and social leader of Kutch.”.
