Rajkot: A three-year-old boy was mauled to death by a leopard while he was sleeping inside a tent at a farm in Jambuda village of Talaja taluka in Bhavnagar late night on Sunday. The family members shouted for help but it was too late.The forest department recovered scattered body parts of the boy on Monday morning from the bushes on the outskirts of the village. This is when the leopard entered the tent and took away Mohit Ratadia who was asleep. The forest department set up a trap to nab the leopard on Monday.According to forest officials, the leopard entered the tent set up in a farm where the child and his family members were staying and working as farm labourers. It is believed that some parts were eaten by the leopard or some other wild animal.The family belongs to Pipaliya village of Rajkot and had migrated to Bhavnagar sometime back..
