Man stabbed to death over old enmity

Rajkot: An old enmity over the issue of hurling abuses resulted in a murder, when a 22-year-old man was stabbed to death by five assailants in Arambhada village of Mithapur taluka in Devbhoomi Dwarka district on Saturday night. He hurled abuses at Rajesh, following which Rajesh said he would complain to police against him. This angered Bharat Jadia so much that he called up his associates and attacked Rajesh with swords and knives,” said C B Jadeja, inspector of Mithapur police station. The accused were arrested on Sunday afternoon.The deceased was identified as Rajesh Sumania, a resident of Devpara village of Mithapur taluka, and the accused as Bharat Jadia, Bharat Sumania, Ravabha Manek, Lakhan Jam and Sunil Jadia, all residents of Devpara village.According to police, last week, Bharat Jadia was hurling abuses at Rajesh’s friend Gagabha Manek in Devpara, to which Rajesh objected, leading to an altercation.“On Saturday night, when Rajesh was passing by an eye hospital in Arambhada, Bharat Jadia was sitting there..
