Mukesh Patel the chairman of Shree Ram Group said the warship’s steel is of high-grade quality.

It also has bulletproof material and non-ferrous steel.

This is for the first time that a warship that has served two nations is com coming to Alang.

Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB) and Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB) and Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) the customs department ,will complete their procedures and after that it will be handed over for dismantling.

Decommissioned by the Indian Navy after 30 years of service in 2017 will reach Alang around Sunday.

It served in the British Navy as HMS Hermes for 25 years from November 1959 to April 1984.

It was commissioned to Indian Navy in May 1987.

Efforts by the Navy to preserve the carrier, by converting it into a museum got failed.
