RANCHI: Pragati Pratik Club 's Durga Puja pandal at Kishoreganj was razed to the ground in a fire that broke out during Mahashtami rituals at 9am on Wednesday. Even the idol of the Goddess was gutted in the blaze, which is suspected to have been triggered by lit diyas. The pandal this time here is themed on a village life.Sources said the repeated instances expose the Puja committee and the district administration's lackadaisical approach towards fire. Though, no casualties have been reported, sources said at least half a dozen devotees sustained minor injuries in the incident.This was the second fire at the pandal in four days.
