RANCHI: Chief minister Raghubar Das on Friday sought public apology from Congress party and its national president Rahul Gandhi for misleading the people in the matter of Rafale deal after the apex court gave a clean chit to the Modi government on purchase of 36 rafale jets from France. “The CAG is yet to prepare its report and according to procedure once the report is prepared a copy is submitted to the President of India and Finance Ministry following which the copy goes to Public Accounts Committee (PAC). However, one of the petitioners in the case, former external affairs and finance minister Yashwant Sinha accused the BJP government at center of misleading the supreme court.Talking to TOI Sinha said that the CAG report which has been taken into account by the apex court is nowhere in existence. “I can talk about other issues later someday, today I will only speak about Congress which has been a thief and scammer and has been calling the house guard a thief,” he said.Das accused the congress of compromising with national security by raising the issue of Rafale deal and pointing finger to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for ‘wrongdoings’ in the corruption free deal..
