Summary:

Ranchi: JMM working president Hemant Soren on Wednesday described the mahagatbandhan of opposition parties as a bridge “built of rocks and pebbles to take Jharkhand to greater heights”. Doctors, lawyers, teachers and civil society activists also attended the event and asked questions to the former CM. “A complaint has also been registered with the ECI through CVigil app,” the party said in a statement. The event was a part of the social media giant’s Chaupal launched earlier this year.Soren’s reference to Mahagatbandhan came amid growing dissent among the alliance partners over seat-sharing of 14 parliamentary seats. Though negotiations are underway since February, an official announcement is yet to come, leading to growing dissent among the stakeholders and its workers and leaders.BJP meanwhile cried foul over the event and alleged JMM had violated model code of conduct by putting up hoardings of the event across the city..
