The fresh infections reported on Monday came from six districts, with the state capital Ranchi alone recording 27 cases.

The other five districts reported cases in single digits.

As per government data, as many as 1,19,637 people have been infected by the virus till date and 1,18,103 have recovered, taking the recovery rate to 98.71%.

The seven-day growth rate of the virus in Jharkhand was 0.03% against the national average of 0.09%.

The doubling rate of the virus in the state stood at 2386.38 days against the national figure of 783.44 days.

Meanwhile, a total of 7,453 beneficiaries were vaccinated on Monday.
