Staff CorrespondentSHILLONG: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Wednesday inaugurated the newly constructed building of Nongstoin College, funded by the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) and Ministry of DoNER, in the presence of local MLA Macmilan Byrsat. Inaugurating the building, the Chief Minister reiterated the government's commitment to improve the education scenario of the State. He also lauded the college for its contribution in imparting higher education since its inception in 1978. He informed that the government is working out modalities to increase sanctioned posts in different colleges of the State and Nongstoin College will also be included in the list.
