A ReporteSHILLONG: Two months after joining the BJP, the four MDCs from Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC) were once part and parcel of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA)'s Executive Committee, blamed the EC for the present financial crisis in the council. He was accompanied by MDC of Khanduli Dawan Lyngdoh, MDC of Sumer Krison Langstang and MDC of Shangpung T Suchiang. “We want to know the exact cause of the present financial crisis and we call for tabling of a report by the Executive Committee in the Winter Session scheduled to commence from 28th of this month,” the engineer turned politician said. Biam said that the outcome of the enquiry committee constituted by the Executive Committee into the illegal appointment of various posts in JHADC is yet to see the light of the day, though the date of submission of the Committee was July 31, 2019. He lambasted the Executive Committee for the delay of the report and asked them to table the report of the enquiry in the Winter Session and also take a stand on the fate of the 56 questionable employees..
