Staff CorrespondentShillong: Although there are reports that a committee constituted by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs has recommended the introduction of the Inner Line Permit in Assam, the influential North East Students Organisation (neso) is still sceptical about it. “Since it's inception, neso has been demanding the introduction of ilp in all the sister States. Manipur has got it and it is now time for Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura”, stated Jyrwa. The State Cabinet along with other functionaries are already in full strength in the national capital, informed a source.
