Summary:
A CorrespondentSHILLONG: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Wednesday informed that 1,046 samples have been sent for testing out of which 904 cases are negative and the results of 130 samples are awaited. He also informed that 2,32,572 persons have registered for providing financial assistance through the Chief Minister's special assistance of Rs 2,100. Out of these 2,06,542 labourers were verified for the special assistance. The Chief Minister also informed that 9,302 labourers were provided support under the Building and Other Construction Workers Act of Rs 3,000 each.
