Meghalaya records 426 new Covid-19 cases, 9 fatalities

Meghalaya received 426 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours while nine people succumbed to the deadly virus in the same time.

Meghalaya received 426 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours while nine people succumbed to the deadly virus in the same time.

As on 9th July, the state`s total cases tally has reached 53,670.

The north-eastern state has 4,391 active cases currently.

The cumulative recoveries reached 48,380 after 417 under-treatment patients recovered from Covid-19 in the last 24-hours.

The total fatalities in the state have climbed to 899 after nine deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours.

The new cases of infection include 129 from East Khasi Hills, 87 from Ri-Bhoi, 73 from West Garo Hills, 39 from West Jaintia Hills, 15 from East Jaintia Hills, 19 from West Khasi Hills, 8 from South West Garo Hills and 8 from South Garo Hills, 25 from West Khasi Hills, 18 from East Garo Hills and 16 from North Garo Hills.
