Covid-19 cases spike in Meghalaya, 558 new cases, 6 fatalities recorded

Meghalaya received 558 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours while six people succumbed to the deadly virus.

Meghalaya received 558 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours while six people succumbed to the deadly virus.

As on 21st July, the state`s total cases tally has reached 54,218.

The north-eastern state has 3,964 active cases currently.

The cumulative recoveries reached 58,833 after 375 under-treatment patients recovered from Covid-19 in the last 24-hours.

The total fatalities in the state have climbed to 974 after six deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours.

The new cases of infection include 192 from East Khasi Hills, 62 from Ri-Bhoi, 140 from West Garo Hills, 22 from West Jaintia Hills, 12 from East Jaintia Hills, 44 from West Khasi Hills, 11 from South West Garo Hills and 22 from South Garo Hills, 44 from West Khasi Hills, 14 from East Garo Hills and 15 from North Garo Hills.
