Meghalaya records surge in fresh Covid-19 cases, receives 14 fatalities

Summary:

Meghalaya received 731 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours while 14 people succumbed to the deadly virus.

As on 29th July, the state`s total cases tally has reached 63,745.

The north-eastern state has 5,750 active cases currently.

Meghalaya received 731 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours while 14 people succumbed to the deadly virus.

As on 29th July, the state`s total cases tally has reached 63,745.

The north-eastern state has 5,750 active cases currently.

The cumulative recoveries reached 56,6933 after 423 under-treatment patients recovered from Covid-19 in the last 24-hours.

The total fatalities in the state have climbed to 1062 after 14 deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours.

The new cases of infection include 204 from East Khasi Hills, 114 from Ri-Bhoi, 128 from West Garo Hills, 91 from West Jaintia Hills, 30 from East Jaintia Hills, 96 from West Khasi Hills, 9 from South West Garo Hills and East Garo Hills, 96 from West Khasi Hills, 6 from South Garo hill and 22 from North Garo Hills and South West Khasi Hills.
