Meghalaya records surge in fresh Covid-19 cases, 11 deaths in last 24 hours

Summary:

Meghalaya received 411 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours while 11 people succumbed to the deadly virus.

As of 10th August, the state`s total cases tally has reached 69,769.

The north-eastern state has 4,427 active cases currently.

Meghalaya received 411 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours while 11 people succumbed to the deadly virus.

As of 10th August, the state`s total cases tally has reached 69,769.

The north-eastern state has 4,427 active cases currently.

The cumulative recoveries reached 64,157 after 411 under-treatment patients recovered from Covid-19 in the last 24-hours.

The total fatalities in the state have climbed to 1185 after 11 deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours.

The new cases of infection include 216 from East Khasi Hills, 23 from Ri-Bhoi, 66 from West Garo Hills, 22 West Jaintia Hills, 2 from East Jaintia Hills, 38 from West Khasi Hills, 5 from South West Garo Hills and 12 from East Garo Hills, 38 from West Khasi Hills, 4 from South Garo hill and 10 from North Garo Hills.

South West Khasi Hills received 13 case.
