Rains trigger landslides in Himachal again

SHIMLA: Heavy rainfall on Sunday again triggered landslides in Himachal Pradesh, which is struggling to overcome the damage caused by the previous round of heavy rains . She instructed all the deputy commissioners to send detailed reports on deaths caused by rains and cloudbursts as soon as possible. Plains and low hills of Himachal Pradesh would receive rain and thundershowers till September 6 and some isolated places till September 8, middle hills would receive rain and thundershowers at most places on Monday and at a few places till September 7 and at isolated places on September 8. To make matters worse, more rainfall has been forecast in the state till September 8.The Shimla-Rohru road was blocked because of a landslide near Patti Dhank and Nihari.
