A close aide of the industries minister lost the seat to a Congress candidate here.Elections were held today for the vice president post of the Zila parishad. But ahead of parliamentary elections, the ruling BJP faced a defeat at the Zila Parishad elections on Monday despite the fact that there were four sitting ministers in cabinet from Kangra. The board of directors was dissolved after saffron party had come to power in the state during April.
