9 HP dists get 2393 complaints during Jan Manch

Shimla: As many as 2,393 complaints and demands were received during the sixth ‘Jan Manch’ programme organized in nine districts of Himachal Pradesh on Sunday. Rural development and panchayati raj minister Virender Kanwar received 215 demands and complaints from 12 panchayats during the ‘Jan Manch’ organized at Jalag in Kangra district. As many as 285 demands and complaints were received from the public. He said a rest house with all facilities would be constructed at Nihri to facilitate pilgrims going to famous Kamrunag temple. Most of the public grievances were redressed on the spot while the officials concerned were directed to solve the public problems as soon as possible..
